ACCA and the University of London have launched a new programme that lets you earn both at the same time.
The new BSc (Hons) Professional Accountancy programme combines studies for the ACCA Qualification with a University of London degree. This means you can work towards becoming a qualified accountant and get a degree in one study route.
Students will be able to apply for the programme starting December 2025.
Just like the ACCA Qualification, the degree can be studied online from anywhere in the world. You can choose fully supported online learning, or in the future, face-to-face classes through the University of London’s teaching centres.
Alan Hatfield, ACCA’s Executive Director said, “many students feel they have to choose between a professional qualification and a degree. This new option lets you do both – giving you a strong start to your career.”
Dr Sky Zheng from the University of London added, “This programme gives students the best of both worlds. You’ll earn two respected qualifications that can help open doors in the global job market.”
This new BSc builds on the existing partnership between ACCA and the University of London, which already offers ACCA members a chance to pursue a Master’s degree in Professional Accountancy.
If you’re planning to become a qualified accountant, this programme could help you get there faster, with both a degree and a professional qualification in one go.
